9/23/2024 - Wingate by Wyndham Coliseum - 2006 Veasley St, Greensboro, NC 27407 - Room 115 - 1:30 am I went to bed at 11pm and woke at 1:30 violently scratching my arm. My arm, forehead and hand were covered in bites, welts and swollen. I pulled back the covers to find one dead bug, and upon closer inspection saw them crawling out the pillow and mattress. Took plenty of pictures and even videos of them in action. Called the Night Clerk and they changed our to room 108. Couldn't go back to sleep, too upset. Carefully inspected all of our belongings, flat ironed my hair, and took a shower (to ensure we weren't carrying any unwanted bed bugs). Went outside to smoke and calm down and saw the Night Clerk who said that there were 2 other incidents that she knew of on the 2nd floor, but there were no written reports. When we checked in they said the elevator wasn't working. Husband said they probably had the bedbug problem on the 2nd floor and just used the elevator as an excuse. That day called the Guilford County Health Dept and reported the hotel. Was still in pain and discomfort and getting more swollen. Went to the ER and was prescribed treatment medicine. Calling my lawyer for them to pay for the ER & the $160 medicine cost. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
