Woke up at 4am with a lot of bites. Complained to hotel and was moved to another room.

Initially, I did not have an issue with this hotel during my stay. It was convenient in location and it was a decent hotel for the price. However, the issues came after we checked out. After checking out of room 505, my guest and I discovered that we had all been bitten by bedbugs. We have bites all over our face, arms and legs. I contacted the front desk to inform them about the situation and the girl that picked up was extremely rude. She didn't bother to ask for my name or room number. It was almost as if she was aware of the bed bugs and didn't care. I asked to speak with her manager and she told me the manager wasn't available. I explained to her what happened and she kept saying that I should have notified them at the point of check out. I explained to her that bed bug bites don't necessarily appear right away and she showed no empathy. She did not have a response for me only that it was my fault for not notifying them. After receipting the same response multiple times, she didn't offer to have management contact me. Instead, I had to request a call back. I have yet to hear back from management. I contacted the guest relations department and I can't seem to get through as they keep you on hold for over 20 minutes. I've resorted to emailing the guest relations department twice but I have not heard from them either. It is a shame that this happened because I was satisfied with the hotel until this embarrassing situation happened. At this point I do not know who else to contact.

I booked the room for friends, there were bed bugs and they got bitten all over their bodies, there were no free hotels in the are so they had to stay there. One ended up sleeping on the floor and did not get bitten. The management refused to even get a bed bug spray. We took photos of the bites
