My boyfriends mother booked us a room for ONE NIGHT. We checked in yesterday Friday May 1st 2015 at around 8p.m. tired from driving all day. We were traveling for a family funeral. The place is extremely shady. Shady characters. Beer cans in the stairways. People roaming the halls. Garbage thrown in the hallway in front of people's rooms. Definitely an apartment like setting. The halls reeked of people cooking their dinners and no it did not smell good. Our room smelled like their cooking after we were in there for awhile. These people have been here for awhile. Not your typical 'I'm here for a couple months for business' extended stay.. it's a 'I don't rent an apartment nor house I've been living here for years' extended stay. Whatever.. it's one night.. we were tired and just ready to lay our heads down so we could get up early the next morning to meet with family at Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills then head back up north right after. My boyfriend was ironing his shirt at around 11p.m. on the ironing board that looked like a dog had peed on the bottom of the legs. Nice. I'm laying in bed and feeling rather itchy.. jokingly we were talking about bed bugs. He finishes ironing his shirt and crawls into bed with me.. within 5 minutes he is now itching as well. He looks on his arm and goes "what is that?! I don't have a mole here!" So I instantly grab my phone and shine the flashlight on his arm.. BED BUGS!!!! We grabbed everything called his mom and headed down to the lobby. By the time we got to the lobby his mother had already spoke to the front desk and they agreed to a refund. No questions asked and Edna did not seem surprised in the least bit. Almost as if this is not a first time occurrence. Had we had known we would have collected the evidence and sued the place since we have now tracked them back home and have A HUGE HEAD ACHE to deal with not to mention how much it will cost to de-bug our house. Nighty night don't let the bed bugs bite has a whole new meaning now. ROOM 206 IS LITTERED WITH BED BUGS. Word of advice DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! EVER!!!!

On 11/22/17 my 73 year old mother and I checked into an Extended Stay Hotel located at 24940 Pico Canyon Road, Stevenson Ranch CA. 91381. At approximately 1:00 am, I pulled down the sheets and crawled into bed. I then turned off the light on bedside table. Within minutes, I felt smothing crawling on my head and on my shoulder. I immediately turned on the light and saw a swarm of black bugs scramble across the sheets, then down the mattress by the headboard. I grabbed my phone and photographed the bugs that remained on the bed. After this, I packed my belongings and checked out of the hotel. The hotel refused to acknowledge the bug infestation and to date refused to refund our money. I have filed a small claims lawsuit with LA Superior Court and reported them to the County Health Dept.
