On August 10th, 2017 we stayed here and upon checking in to the hotel found a dead bug on one of the beds that we brushed off not thinking anything of it (in retrospect we believe that it was indeed a bed bug). Then two days later upon returning home my daughter received multiple bites on her legs that we thought were spider bites. We set off a bug bomb in the room and stayed out of the room for a few days and upon returning back to the room my daughter received over 4 dozen bites up her back, arms and neck. My daughter is very allergic and had severe reactions. Upon inspection it was determined they were bed bug bites. The exterminator confirmed that it was indeed bed bugs and urged us to contact the hotel. We tried to contact the manager and had to wait a couple days for them to contact us back. When they did contact us they basically said it was our own problem and there was nothing they could/would do about it. I was not impressed with how he handled the call or how he treated us. Thinking back to that bug we found in the bed we wished then that we would have never stayed in that room! It would have saved us hours and hours of cleaning and lots of money from hiring exterminators. I will never again stay in a hotel room without thoroughly inspecting the room first.
