July 24-27. Our stay was largely frustrated by the bed bug we found in the bed. In the morning I found many bites on my body and we discovered a bed bug right on the white sheet. Later that day, I started to have a fever up to 103.3F. I went to urgent care, and the doctor said that the cause can be "bitten or stung" by the said beg bugs. The doctor gave me prescribed amoxicillin, which I must take for 10 days. Even after I started to take the medicine, I had fever for 5 days. It was so troublesome to get rid of the fear that we might bring the bed bugs and the eggs home along with our luggages. We had done a lot of research in dealing with the bed bugs. And we did went through all the troubles - and we had to discard things too. We also realized that this hotel did not even provide us with any help in removing the bed bugs - the appropriate practice would be that you offer to clean/dry our clothing and inspect/vacuum our luggage to ensure that no bed bugs or eggs remain before making us change room - without doing so the hotel cannot even be sure that the beg bugs will not infect another hotel room or attack later hotel guests. In fact, I have discussed all the issues above with their assistant manager. He said what he was authorized to do at that moment was to first refund our entire stay, and he assured us that he will talk to his supervisor about the bed bug issue and will give us a satisfying solution. However, he did not even keep his very initial promise, i.e., he did not even make the refund for our entire stay, not to speak of further communication. We attempted to contact him - but he never replied to us. I was very very disappointed by now - at first I thought their staff at least had a good attitude in helping us to resolve the problem, but now it looked like he did not really attempt to do so in good faith.
