Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Take 95 North to Bangor, Maine and then take 395 East to Route 1A East. Proceed to Route 3 East. The Best Western Acadia Park Inn is approximately 17 miles from where Route 1A and Route 3 meet on Route 3, on the right just past Salsbury Cove.

August 10,2017 stayed in room number 2 found one dead bed bug at night saw no other signs around mattress under sheets etc. In the am saw two dark spots on my sheet and when I gently tried to move them to see what they were, two blood stains appeared. I walked to the management office to inform them. When I came back a friend had caught one climbing up the mattress in a cup. I took this to the office and the person behind the desk was on line researching bed bugs and agreed it looked just like the ones he had just pulled up. I checked out and we went up the mountain and upon passing the motel on our way home saw that all of the mattresses were outside of the room on the pavement and room 2 door was open.
