Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Located at Light 10 in Pigeon Forge/ also known as Conner Heights Road/ we are centrally located to the area/s recreational facilities including skiing/ putt putt golf/ 18-hole championship golf courses/ bungee jumping/ helicopter rides/ bumper car and go-carts. Douglas Lake is nearby and provides seasonal water sports and fishing. Smoky Shadows is the perfect place to come home to after spending the day at Dollywood or after a leisurely drive in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Come/on home to Smoky Shadows and the Smoky Shadows Convention Center.

Stayed here from Friday October 9th thru Tuesday October 12th and didn\'t notice anything until the second night but thought it was a mosquito bite because it had rained for 2 days until by the 3rd day when I began to notice a cluster of bites that itches more than a mosquito bite would. On the way home I began to notice more and now they were starting to show up on others that had stayed in the room as well. I have never dealt with bed bugs before and don\'t know what to do about the hotel.

My family and I stayed one night only. The bathroom in the room was very unclean. One of the mattress covers had stains and the other bed\'s bed skirt was tore all the way down. The bed my daughter slept in had bed bugs apparently because she now has bite marks on her legs and arms. Am very upset and the lady upfront was rude upon check out. We will not stay here again and I\'m making every effort that others know not to stay either. The whole hotel was in need of repair and a major deep cleaning! Very dissatisfied with our experience!

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
