I Charleston Sharkey , was staying at Candlewood 04-17-20 around 8:00 pm along with my girlfriend Tatianna Williams and our two children. the very first room the heat wasn't working, the lady from the front office came to our room to see it for herself afterwards she than moved us out of our room into the second room were it was a very bad oder. As we were getting ready to lay down we saw a bed bug, we started recording and taking pictures than killed it and flushed it down the toilet. Approximately one hour later as we finally got comfortable to lay back down my girlfriend spotted another bedbug crawling on my back while i was asleep. She immediately woke me up in said it's a bedbug on your back baby!!!! I jumped up grabbed my belongings went to the front desk for the second time and told clerk what my family is going through. I asked for my money back so we could leave and go somewhere else. They told me they couldn't refund me but , they can move me into another room. Now we're gathering our things headed to the third room, as we about to lay down we noticed a bedbug on the pillow. We immediately called begging for our refund in which they told us we still couldn't get back . I told the Clark if she think I am playing she can come see her self. She said she believes me and I told her I was going to bring it to her which I did. So again they moved us to another room on the first floor which was a handicap room. Before I moved my family to the other room I had the clerk to check with me to make sure there was no bedbugs in which there wasn't. Now it's about 5:30 am me and my family haven't had no rest at all. So now we went to sleep and woke up around 10:00 am and I talk to one of the managers and she said she sorry about what I was going though and she can't give me a refund and she was going to finger some out something. So I left and came back she was gone and the clerk told me he can't give me no refund and he didn't have nothing on file saying I switch rooms because bedbugs and they charge us for three nights but we ask for two nights So we went to the room trying to finger something out. We recently been through a disaster tornado total our house down so we've been living in a hotels for about two weeks looking for somewhere to stay and after being through the disaster we came to this hotel didn't make us feel no better.
