Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

12/23/2024 Shortly after check in, about 1 hour, while in the bathroom, I noticed a fast moving bug on the floor. I grabbed some tissue and quickly squished the bug. Upon closer inspection and some googling I noticed it looked like a bed bug. I promptly took it downstairs and notified the night staff and they called Ecolab to come out as soon as possible. They did not immediately move us rooms, but in the morning they moved us and the Ecolab rep showed up and confirmed the bug I had killed was indeed a bed bug. We did not have any bites on ourselves, but they notified us that Ecolab did find a “couple” of bed bugs in the room but that it was not an infestation and to just take precautions with our belongings but that we should be ok. We were not allowed to get a copy of the Ecolab report, and we did not see any signs of bed bugs under the beds or in the sheets.
