Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

On March 15, 2019 we checked into the room at approximately 3pm. Left our luggage and went exploring. We came back at about 8pm, after numerous other problems with the motel, not related to bed bugs, we finally laid down at approximately 11pm. Woke up a short time later to horrible itching and bumps covering our legs and feet. I had 26 bites on my ankles, feet and legs. My boyfried had just as many if not more. There were a few on our arms, but mostly legs and feet. The motel staff was nice and refunded our next 2 nights so that we could get a more suitable room. We left as soon as we received a refund.
