Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My fiance and I both woke up this morning with bites all over our bodies. She has it the worst, as it appears her body is allergic to the bites. She has 10-20 bites that are beginning to swell into large red and white sores. I am going back to the hotel now to file a complaint. And to take pictures of the bed and matresses. Anyone know the correct process get a lawyer for a settlement or suit.

Check in 12/29, my son complain to me about bits and he showed me the bits were huge. I told the front desk staff, he denied it and ignored my complaint. The next day my son got bite again. I called front desk to resolve the problem again. My stay was for 3 nights. I took pictures and captured the bug. My husband took bug to the front desk for evidence along with pictures. They ignored and only comp 1 night.
