Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1-19-2019 arrived at the room approx. 7;30 pm, checked in, room looked okay, went to the McDonalds next door to get some dinner, came back, watched Tv for about an hour and went to bed. Much to my surprise, when got up that morning (early flight to Orlando) there were two bed bugs crawling across my sheet. Killed both of them, left a bloody stain on sheet. reported incident to front desk, he wasn't too concerned. Called Choice Hotels and the manager of Sleep Inn, No money back, they said nothing they can do. Had to have clothes and luggage cleaned. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

Stayed 5/9/16. After leaving realized the area I was scratching above my rear end was a cluster pattern of bed bug bites. I also had several over other parts of my body. I filed a complaint with Choice Hotels Customer Relations and was advised I would be contacted by management within 72 hours. Today is 6/6/16 and have not heard from anyone. Apparently management does not provide Customer Service.

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
