Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed at Sleep Inn on Shallford Rd, Chattanooga on Sunday, June 19, 2016. I woke up in the middle of the night with something biting the back of my leg, behind my knee. I had a pillow under my knees and thought it may have been on the pillow. I threw that pillow aside and used another. By very early morning I had 5 bites that loozed lIke red bumps smallet tHan a pencil eraser. They areally very, very itchy. There are 2 behind right knee, 1 on front of left knee and 2 on my stomach. After showing hubby, we looked at the bed and found the mattress to have very small black specks on the sheet. There was also black hairs on the sheet (I am blonde!) And the sheet appeared to have already b been slept in. My husband went to the service desk and told the attendant. His reply was "okay". There was no apology, no discount or mention that the problem would be attended to. When we checked out I also talked to him. Same reply..."okay". We will NOT STAY at this hotel again!
