I checked into this hotel on 12/23/16 in the early morning hours around 1 am. Within minutes of getting into our room, I noticed a bed bug crawling on the bed pillow. I immediately took a picture to confirm. We grabbed our things and checked out of the hotel. The staff and management were extremely kind and gracious and assured me the issue is being addressed. Unfortunately, we had already set our items down in the room; some of which were placed on that bed. Out of an abundance of caution, I've had to throw away some items. I hope this bed bug issue is thoroughly resolved soon, because they sure are nice people. If you find yourself at this hotel I would implore you to thoroughly check for bed bugs!

My friend and I checked into this hotel on 12/23/16 in the early morning hours shortly before 1 am. The first room didn't have working lock so we asked the front desk attendant, Hermal to place us in another room. He looked nervously at my friend and I as he asked "Would room 212 be okay?" I kindly told him as long as the locks worked we would take it. I wondered to myself why he would ask if that room was okay. I would learn the answer later. Within minutes of getting into room 212, I noticed a bed bug crawling on the bed pillow. I immediately took a picture to confirm. I've had a prior experience identifying bed bugs at my work, thank God! We grabbed our things and told Hermal what we had encountered in the room. When I showed him the picture and told him about the bed bug, he just looked at the ground. He did not appear surprised at all. Hermal begged us to "give me another chance" and put us in another room. I kindly explained that a bed bug infestation is extremely serious and that we did not wish to risk taking them home with us. Unfortunately, we had already set our items down in the room; some of which were placed on that bed. Out of an abundance of caution, I've had to throw away some items. I hope this bed bug issue is thoroughly resolved soon!! I did not receive any follow up from management regarding this issue. Based on some prior reviews on google this room is known to have bed bugs as far back as a month ago and I find it scandalous that they appear to not have addressed it! If you find yourself at this hotel I would implore you to thoroughly check for bed bugs!
