Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

11/15/19; 11pm We pulled back the bedding after finding tiny rust colored spots on the mattress cover. The bed was badly stained with MANY rust colored spots throughout. We called the front desk to report evidence of bed bugs. The clerk set the phone aside and said â€œthese guests want to leave for the same reasonâ€ which implied to me we werenâ€™t the only room. They never offered another room but quickly assisted us to get credit with the third party reservation company. The desk manager, was apologetic and said the mattress wasnâ€™t acceptable. She was empathetic. I expressed there was no way this mattress condition was ignored by Housekeeping on a repeated basis.
