September 7 - 8th 2016 We stayed for one night. I was in room 14 with my son. I saw a small speck of something on the blanket and when I went to look at it it was a bug. I collected it in a cup and went to the front desk and showed it to the man there. He told me it was a spider. I asked him to switch rooms, he told me he didn't have another one. I checked the bed, pulled the blankets back and saw nothing. I had some natural citronella bug spray and went ahead and sprayed myself and my son, picked up my bags, purse and things and put them up off of the floor. An hour later I saw something on the wall. It was another bug like the first but larger. I collected it, called the man at the desk who had left from the night and googled it to see that it was in fact a bed bug. He came back to the hotel and moved us to abother room. I checked this room and bed and found nothing. He took the bug I had found, but before he did I took a photograph of it next to a brochure from the hotel. It was late and nobody nearby had any openings so I stayed up scratching all night. :( He never once admitted it was a bed bug, nor apologized for the fact that it was the first time and that he was wrong. We ended up throwing out all of our suitcases.
