Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1. 12/17/16-12/22/16 2. During our stay I developed bug bites but only after arriving at the ER for an allergic reaction to 40+ bites did I learn that they were bed bugs. Management and the claims department have thus far been unresponsive with a solution. We first notified Disney on 12/24; now 1/18 they say that they have consistently had occupants in the room and have not been able to perform a check. GROSS! DISNEY KNOWINGLY HAS PEOPLE IN A ROOM INFESTED WITH BED BUGS!!!!

Trip was 10/25-10/30. We were notified on 10/28 that our room had bed bugs. We were in a two bedroom villa. 6 young children and 3 adults. All of us had bites. Still waiting for Disney to get back to us on how they will handle it. The entire vacation was ruined and the children are still waking up asking if their are bugs on them.

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
