Bed bugs found in the room. We checked in early in the morning. Upon checking in we checked one of the beds and found 3 bugs on the dust ruffle. I was able to save two of the bugs and put them in a plastic baggie. I checked the other bed in the room with a flash light and did not find any. Being that it was early in the a.m. We decided to stay, but took precautions such as putting all bags up on the table. In the a.m. we took the plastic baggie to the front desk and showed them to the staff member at the hotel. She said that it was some kind of beetle that must have flown in when the door was open. The bug didn't have any wings!!! she offered no refund, not even a discount. We later found out that an aunt who had stayed in the same hotel at the same time actually had bites.

I woke up to a bed bug crawling on me, I then checked the mattress and found more, I took a pic with my phone and even wrapped one I had killed in a tissue to show the front desk clerk. I was not charged for the room.

Stayed in the super 8 Knoxville Strawberry Plains, on 7/7, 7/8/2023. In room 221, now covered with Bed bug bites. Several clusters all in a row. Contacted the hotel management and they offered a 25% off her bill, contacted corporate for a better response. We are now trying to enjoy ourselves in Memphis while spending money washing all clothes and throwing out suitcases. We are going to buy new suitcases now. We want our money back.
