Visited on March 3-5. On the 5th I woke up covered head to toe in bites. The front desk was notified of possible bed bugs. They sent up housekeeping which confirmed the presence of bed bugs. Management seemed more interested in avoiding us after being notified. The owner only told us we could freeze our clothes and was not helpful or understanding of the discomfort involved. We took a picture of the mattress which also confirmed the presence of bed bugs

3/3/18 10pm My girls and I were getting ready for bed when I just happened to check the pullout mattress and noticed bedbugs crawling on the top of the inside sheet. I called front desk and the didn’t seem “surprised” by my calling even though I was “freaked out!” My girls and I immediately began packing our things. I asked for a manager to come up please and see this immediately. They sent up the “maintenance man” to “verify” the bugs!! After confirming, I asked for the manager. Was told “he s around SOMETIMES” I was mortified as I went downstairs to the front desk. I asked the lady receptionist for the manager. She did get him, and he immediately apologized and credited me my money back. Please please check your mattress upon arrival. This could have saved us some time in looking for a new hotel. But here it is 12:31am and we are sleeping out of our car because we have nowhere to go. It’s not worth bringing these pesty creatures home
