Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We checked into North Beach Plantation on Wednesday, April 1st for a Friends and Family reunion. My boyfriend and I slept in the room with the two beds. On Saturday, April 4th we noticed that he had a few bites on his arms that we thought were Mosquito bites. My mom who also stayed in the condo room 1212 Master bedroom with us noticed that she had two bites that she thought was Mosquito bites. On Sunday April 5th when we got home (MD) I noticed that I had a few bites as well on my arm. As the days have gone by since Saturday, April 4th my boyfriend and I have approx. 50 bed bug bites between us. They are located on our arms, chest, back, shoulders, neck, head, ears and face. My boyfriend works for a prominent law firm here in Washington DC and they have advised him to take further action due to damages. I am a RN here in Washington DC and I will also notify NBP to obtain restitution.
