I checked in January 5th 2016. The room smelled like it had been sprayed with a room freshener and the smell was noticeably strong. The morning of the n 6th I woke up and there were several spots of dried blood on the sheets next to the pillow.. I thought that was unusual however, I ignored them and got ready for the day. I was staying there for business so at the end of the day I came back to the room went to sleep. I got up at 5 AM the and went into the bathroom saw a bite mark on my neck. I then went back to look at the bed and noticed several more spots of fresh blood. flipped the pillow and there was one bed beg. I then called the front desk at 5AM to come and verify the bug. I took a picture with my phone on a Styrofoam cup. He then wanted me to flush it down the toilet and told me I would be reimbursed for my 2 nights. I told him I wanted the Manager to call me as soon as she came in. She did not. He brought me 2 large trash bags that I put all my suitcases, briefcase, makeup bag, cloth lunch bag and toiletry bags in that I had thrown away as soon as I got home. I then called my husband and while talking with him on the phone there was another bed bug in my hair. I immediately took a shower. When I got out of the shower there was another bed beg crawling across the pillow. So that was 3 that I visibly saw. And when I finally left, I again went and asked the front desk to have the manager call me. Which she did not. I contacted my boss immediately and my company removed them from the their corporate lodging list.
