1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My daughter and husband were awoken at 2AM by crawling bugs. They went to the office who would not clean/remove mattress, refused to call the manager, and wouldn't place them in another room; he wouldn't even go in to look at the infestation. So they had to drive 14 miles out of town to a Holiday Inn. We have pictures of the bugs. I have tried getting hold of a manager to get my money back, no one seems to call back or care; so I have contacted their corporate headquarters and have to wait 7-10 days for them to confirm that there is a bed bug problem.
