On Friday, April 26, 2019, I checked in at Red Roof Inn Spartanburg. Upon waking up on Saturday, April 27, I noticed my legs and ankles were swollen and there were several red swollen what appeared to be bites grouped throughout my body. I got dressed and went to work. Throughout the day there appeared to be more marks everywhere on my body. Looking closer I realized they were bedbug bites. I attempted to request another room but was told there were no more rooms available. I ended up leaving hotel a night early due to the infestation. I notified the office and my manager for my company who booked the hotel. I've taken several pictures showing these bite marks.

Stayed at this motel 7/03/2021 My wife woke me up at 6am and said there was a bug in her bed. I got our flashlight and shined it on her sheet and seen a bug which my wife smashed and it was full of blood. We pulled sheet all the way back and seen multiple bugs crawling, and also blood spots! I shined light on floor and seen bugs there also. We took multiple photos of the bugs and blood spots. We both took hot showers and searched our clean clothes for bugs, and packed all our stuff and immediately left room. We went to front desk and told man at counter the room was infested with bed bugs, his response was he couldn’t do anything, but gave us managers phone number and to call after 8:00am. We went straight to a store and bought garbage bags and put all our stuff in them. Our dog Charlie was with us and we had wiped down his carrier the best we could. We called and manager and person answering said the manager would call us back, she did not, called again and person answered phone said she would have her call us right back, she did not. We called corporate office and left messages and no one called us. On Monday manager called and said they would have exterminator check room and call us back, no one has called. My wife started breaking out with bites from her head down to her feet, and went to an urgent care because of pain and itching. Doctor was afraid of infection because of severity of bites and prescribed antibiotics prednisone and a cream for itching. She was crying from the pain and itch. Still no reply from Red Roof!
