Accompanied my husband to the Salisbury Century this past October 2016 and stayed for 2 nights in room 301. We noticed sitting on the bed prompted itching immediately but dismissed it after a cursory sheet inspection. During the 2nd night I noticed a bite on my arm and used the flashlight on my phone to inspect the bed. Found a fat bedbug under my pillow. Proceeded to trap it in a ziploc bag and take it to the front desk where I demanded a full refund, access to a clothes dryer, and large garbage bags. We dryer heated and bagged every belonging prior to loading into the car and hightailed it outta there praying nothing survived to go home with us. The desk clerk didn't seem alarmed and now that I've checked online it seems these issues go back as far as 2010. Too bad as now I'll need a new home base for the Century. Both my points and payments were returned.

Stayed at this hotel in October 2018 (room 330) - woke up with numerous bites on my hands, arm, and face. Notified the front desk and was given a discount on my stay. Management was to call me to follow up - never received a call. I go to Salisbury/Fruitland monthly for work. Returned to this hotel after being assured that the bed bug issue was contained. Stayed there in December 2018 (room 402) - woke up in the middle of the night to bites. Took a picture of one bed bug and showed it to the front desk. They moved me to another room for the rest of the night and checked the new room for me. Worked with management in the morning. They refunded my money, offered to destroy the items I brought and reimburse me for purchases of replacement items (to prevent bringing them home), and provided me with a "be our guest" voucher for a free stay at another Hampton Inn.
