I stayed at the Grand Natchez Hotel (111 Broadway Street Natchez, MS) and experienced a horrible bed bug experience on 6/26/15. I woke up to a bug on my face and decided to look at the other bed. I was extremely exhausted do to lack of sleep and feeling ill. The other bed was infested with bugs and the pillows were absolutely disgusting. Im assuming the dried mold looking spots were actually dried blood from the bugs. All pillows were covered in this mold/mildew looking substance. I began to pull the covers back and saw more and more bugs. I reported it to the staff immediately after I showered and checked my hair. They were booked so they did not have another room to put me in. Instead of sending me to another hotel, they sent me back to my room to wait for the manager. In the meantime, I checked all of my belongings and showered again. Two hours later, when the manager arrived, I took her to the room and she minimized the problem. She even asked me if the pillows were already like that. She even offered me a free night. HA! You're kidding me! I was only reimbursed for one night and actually stayed 2 nights in a bug infested bed without even knowing. I didnt want to cause a huge commotion so I hust decided to wait in the lobby for the remainder of the day before checkout bc I was there for a conference with my coworkers. I was mortified beyond belief. I took several pictures before and after killing many of the bugs. No one should have to experience something like this.
