On 2/28 I woke up early in the morning to bed bug bites. I found a large bed bug in the sheets scurrying away and immediately took it down to the front desk in a glass. I showed the desk clerk and he was apologetic, offered to launder my clothes and switch my room. I declined the laundering as I was leaving that morning and if bugs got into my clothing they were likely in my suitcase too so laundering the clothing wouldn't do much to help the spread. I was moved from room 2122 to room 1026 with all of my belongings. I asked at the desk later that morning when checking out if an exterminator would be called and if the rooms I stayed in wouldn't be rented out until being fumigated. I was told their inspector would come review the rooms and that a manager would be contacting me that morning. I did not hear from anyone with the hotel. I submitted a complaint on the Marriott corporate website and sent an email to the gentlemen who assisted me that morning. I have not received a response yet. I have several large welts from the bites on my arm and neck.
