Me and my friend stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Rivergate and we checked in and I checked the room thoroughly for bed bugs well I thought I did. Once we got ready for bed I felt something bit me on my back and it worked up so big I got my friend to check my back and it was indeed a huge bite so I knew immediately that could only mean one thing, I miss something when I checked or something, well I found what was biting me it was in the pillowcase of the hotels bed linen I got sick to my stomach so I called the front desk and I could get anyone to answer so I walked up there ( I smashed the bedbug once I seen it but left it right where I fount it so the hotel could see it)I also took a picture of it to show the front desk since I had to go up front immediately once we fount the bed bugs. Anyways I walked up front both me and my friend and rang their door bell knocked in their window and I couldn't get anyone to answer so I kept trying. I had to call choice whom we booked the room with for them to even answer or to get anybody. But long story short they didn't believe they had bed bugs even tho I recorded a video of finding it and took pictures of it and left it right where I fount it and showed them the bite on my back they still didn't believe they had them they really said are you sure you didn't bring them with you? The nerve if this place it's a disgrace to even blame that on us. Take responsibility of your hotel and actually thoroughly clean it... And accept the fact that you own a hotel and there's a 50/⁵⁰ chance of a family or someone bringing in bedbugs and another family or someone will end up coming in contact of them if not fount before hand. They were upset that we called or reservation company to complain about the bed bugs and said to never come back. We told them say less we won't be back. This was found on September 4th, 2021.
