My husband first had the bites but we thought they came from stopping by a sewage drain on our run the night before. I checked his side of the bed and didn't find anything though I had seen black spots on our sheets. I knew nothing about bedbugs so we kept staying there. The last night, after I had started to get bit, I checked my side of the bed and they were everywhere. We talked to the desk worker but they said there wasn't a manager on staff but allowed us to use their drier. Of course it ruined most of our stuff to have to be heated so high. In the morning, we talked to the manager who blamed it on us. I wrote a complaint to the owner and they said the room was also infested with fleas...which our dogs couldn't and didn't have because they had been on flea medication to prevent fleas for over a year...we never saw fleas on them. They blamed it on us and that was it. Very upset with them and how they handled the situation.
