June 3, 2019 0215am- I had woken up to start gathering my belongings to check out, as I had an 11 hour drive to get home. I turned on the lamp and got up and walked around my bed to gather some things when I noticed two small brown spots on the edge of the fitted sheet. Upon closer inspection I confirmed they were indeed bedbugs. I then noticed one on my pillow I had just been sleeping with. I quickly dressed and gathered the rest of my belongings and went down to the front desk. The gentleman working had me email pictures I had taken to the company website. He helped me place my belongings in trash bags and gave me the assistant general managers card and told me to call and follow up with him because since I booked through a third party site, he wasn’t sure how it would be handled. I have not spoken to him at this time, but will be calling as soon as he arrives.

12/6/2020 12:30am. I checked in on 12/5/2020. Smooth check in until I realized the refrigerator didn't work. My room was changed from 207 to 209 right next door. Switched rooms. Set up everything moved night stand and moved chair into bedroom area. Fixed dinner took shower by 7pm I was sound asleep. Woke up at 10:30pm itching. Rolled over not thinking much about it, fell back to sleep. But 12:30am my back and hand were itching like crazy. I jumped up searching the bed for bedbugs, I was relieved to see the bedbug cover on the mattress. Asked my son to scratch and see what's on my back. He said you have some bumps on your back. I had my son picked up the phone to alert the staff of my situation to see if they could tell me something. The night manager immediately went into cover mode. Told me she never had a compliant about bugs butting anyone. She would give me trash bags to put my clothes, money to put them in the dryer to kill what ever was living. 😳 I'm very confused if you've never had a complaint snit bugs, why are you offering me bags and money to put my belongings the dryer? I saw what beg bug bites look like, but believing it was because of what she said. I agreed to have maintenence come in to find out what was going on in the morning. Got off the phone walked back over to the bed and the bedbug was walking across my pillow 🤦🏾‍♀️. I grabbed it in a paper towel and tried to kill it. Had my son call back downstairs and let her know I found the bedbug. He went down to get trash bags. I started bagging my items and precided to move my room. I get downstairs to get the key and leave my belongings in the room until the am. The manager was no help, she kept telling me different stories she never received any complaints, nor had anyone else told her about any bug bites in the 2 years she's been working here. She was trying Thu get me out of the lobby so none would hear our conversation. Told me a manager would be back until Monday morning.

August 7, 2021. Woke up about 1am to find bed bugs crawling on myself and bedding. Squished as many as I could find. Some tiny, some about tick size. Got dressed and went to the front desk to ask for a new room and plastic bags. She knew why without asking, so it has to have come up before. It's now 2:30, so we'll see what happens from here. Brought my own pillow and wedge, left them behind.
