August 11, 2021 From 3AM to 7AM. My girls and I arrived at the hotel around 2.30AM after driving from VA. we checked the covers both on the bed and the sheets in the bed as the hotel didn't look very good but it was a Stay to Play with the tournament my daughter was playing in. Once I got up and took my shower for the day, I came to get clothes on and noticed a bug on the sheet of the bed. I picked it up b/t my fingers and took it to the bathroom sink where it was all white to check it out with my phone. It was a Bed bug. My girls didn't sleep in the bed, they slept on top of the covers and used their own blankets. I first alerted the venue we had booked through for a new location. They could not accommodate. I then alerted the management of the hotel who said they had to get pest control in and would refund my stay from wed night to sat night or move me to another room. If i left, i had to be out within the hour. I found another place and they only would refund the nights I hadn't stayed. After I left and gave the hotel a bad review to their corporate office, I received a phone call from the manager who said the pest control had confirmed there was a bed bug infestation and would also refund the cost of the stay for Tuesday night which they did. I told the Manager I was not dealing with the bites from the bed bugs as they are hard to get rid of. The manager told me she understood as she said she was shaking her pant legs as she was leaving the room. I now have had 7 bites to pop up on my arms, back and face.

I stayed here February 25, 26, 27, 2024. I came home with bed bugs. Management has denied there is any. Management has not followed through with returning my calls. Beware! I have done my due diligence in reporting. I don't want anyone else to go through this, it's horrible and extremely expensive to replace bed, bedding and eliminate bed bugs.
