Felt something crawling on my neck in the night. Pinched it between fingers and went to the bathroom and turned on the light and had blood on my fingers and a squished bed bug. Told the night manager and he moved me to another room. I kept the dead bed bug as evidence.

We were a group of ten who stayed at this inn from 2/19 to 2/21/16. One of the people, \"C,\" staying in room 120 started manifesting bites on 2/20 but we weren\'t sure where they came from. On the morning of our check-out, C\'s bites were red and heavily swollen. Her entire body was covered in bites, including her left eyelid. The other person, \"D,\" found a bedbug in the room on her towel that was sitting on the bed. We took the bedbug to the front desk and was told by the attendant that we were rude. For someone in customer service, he was very unsympathetic towards what we were going through.

Checked in a week ago to room 104. I woke up with bites and reported it the employee on duty. I was told there was a report of spiders in the room 102 and no other guests reported bed bugs. We were switched to room 206. The day we switched rooms, I noticed they had the beds propped up in room 106 and had dryers running. 2 days later the same thing to our old room (104). The 2nd night in room 206 I had more bites. Before I took everything up to this room I treated our belongings for bed bugs. Then while I was changing the sheets to the bed I found 2 bed bugs.

9/13/17. Rooms 131 and 129. I made the mistake of not checking the mattress the night before...yuck! I found an adult bedbug crawling up the wall above my bed when I woke up. I took a picture and reported it to the front staff. They acknowledged it and said they would investigate. Not convinced that the front desk person cared, I reported it to Red Roof Inn corporate with a formal complaint. This got their attention! The owner called me and was mainly mad that I reported it and requested that I remove my complaint. He said it was the first time it ever happened there and that they don't have bugs. I said I had a picture and found complaints online. After I explained this, he said that everywhere in the US has them and that its not a big deal. Lie after lie. I then called the health department and sent pictures to them and to Red Roof Inn Corp.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn 9/12/17. I made the mistake of not checking my bed and room before laying down for the night. When I woke up, I found a bedbug crawling on the wall above my headboard. I checked the corner of the bed and found all of the tell tale signs. I left the room, finished getting ready for the day outside and notified the front desk. After not really doing anything about it, I called Red Roof Inn Corporate and filed a complaint. I promptly received a phone call from the manager, frustrated that I didn't talk to him before I filed the complaint and he requested that I retract my complaint. He said there had never been any other issues at the location...however....look at the other complaints for this location. I called him out on it and he then said that all hotels in the US have bed bugs and that it's not a big deal. I left my complaint with corporate and followed it up with a call to the health department. Maybe it will make a difference....but how frustrating!
