Checked in on 92217 and woke up the next morning to over 20 bites. On 92317 I called the front office….no answer....called again to report bites....they were sending someone but no one came. I have my phone records to prove I called the front desk. The room was nasty, the carpet was filthy and really gross. The bedding was dirty and the mattress pad was stained with blood droppings. I saw two bugs and killed them and they burst with blood. On 9242017 I checked out. I went to the hospital and the doctor stated that I had bed bug bites. I could not get a nights sleep because of the bites and I am still suffering without much sleep due to the itching and bites. I called to inform the manager and he stated that they had a pest control company and housekeeping to check the rooms. He stated they found no bed bugs, but he wouldn't tell me who the company was that did the inspection. As for as housekeeping…. they need a class in housekeeping. I made sure they did not put any dirty linen back on the beds, I stripped the linen even the mattress pads and put them in the tub and made sure that they were wet. The room smelled of a musky order. Harbor Cove Room 412 has bed bugs in the master bedroom. I will never stay at Barefoot again. The manager is not sympathetic. Of course they will not tell anyone they have a problem with bedbugs, but I did some research and found a few other complaints of being bitten by bed bugs. So Barefoot Resort and Yacht Club…. You have an issue with bed bugs. I came to your place where you worked and was bitten……by bed bugs per a medical doctor.
