Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

8:00 am 4-5-19 Room 218 I found bedbug on bottom sheet when I got out of bed. I captured it in a plastic bag and called front desk. They were busy with morning checkout but when I could I made my way to front desk with captured bug. Hotel Mgmt followed me back to room and did a thorough search but could not find any others. There was a suspicious stain but mgmt denied it was from bedbugs. Mgmt did all they could to help me. They ran all my clothes through a dryer and provided me with bag to further segregate these clothes in my car. Gave me 1/2 off night's stay.
