August 13,2022 Approx 7:45 We found bed bugs in our room initially crawling on top of the pillow. After then looking at all the pillows they were on 5out of 6 pillows inside the cases. They were also seen on the bedding on the underside of the blanket, under the sheets, and on the mattresses. It was a double bed room and were on both beds. The front desk staff manager was very kind and apologetic. He immediately reversed the credit card transaction and canceled the room. He offered to switch us to a new room but when I said we would make the 2 hour drive home he offered to help us find another hotel in the area or one on the way. He also offered us complimentary drinks and snacks for the drive. He was kind and apologetic the entire conversation and explained the process the hotel takes to get rid of the bugs by treating the room and 2 adjacent rooms as well. He also made sure I knew he reported it on their system. Although I was upset about the bugs the staff was good.
