Stayed on 2/18/21 - checked in at 9:00pm. The room we were given had clearly not been used in a while as all electronics were unplugged including the heater. We notified the front desk of the heater issue and were told to plug it in and wait a bit to see if the room warmed up (it did after about 30 minutes). We always spray our bed with Lysol and check the pillows/sheets and did not see any obvious signs of bed bugs. The following morning, while packing our belongings we noticed 1 large adult bed bug on the sheets. After pulling the corners of the sheets up, 5 more bugs appeared. We found a few small ones on the clothes we slept in as well. I called the front desk and explained that we found bed bugs in our room and wanted a refund immediately. I was transferred to the general manager, who I explained the situation to as well. The manager did not apologize. He responded that he would “try” to get us a refund. We checked out and have had to buy supplies to bag our clothes and also stopped at a laundromat to put our clothing through a dryer on high heat in the hopes of killing any remaining bed bugs. We have since been fully refunded.
