Both my husband and I came home with multiple bites the day after a one night stay at the hotel.

The first night of the hotel stay was fine. My family required a cot to sleep in on the second day. When we returned in the afternoon the cot was waiting for us. It was clean and tidy. The following night, having slept in the cot, my mother had bites. They resembled bed bug bites, but we could not be positive. This continued for a few days until my mother was covered with bites and went to a pharmacist and a doctor (urgent care), after extensive online research. The research, pharmacist, and doctor all confirmed the bites were those of bed bugs. As it turns out, my mother has thus far been the only victim of bites because of her O negative blood type, the type of blood bed bugs, mosquitos, and other blood sucking insects greatly prefer to any other. She is currently at the front desk explaining the situation. It remains to be seen how the Whitcomb will react/respond. We are, however, almost positive the bed bugs were on the cot given to us on our second day.
