We arrived late afternoon on Nov. 25th and checked into property. When we woke up next morning on 26th my husband and I both had a couple bites on hands and feet but had been at ocean so didn't think much of it. On the 27th we woke up and had a few more small red bumps on arms, hands, legs. We found a bug crawling on beg and identified on web that it was a bed bug. I brought photos to manager and showed him the bites. He refused to acknowledge it was bed bugs. He informed me they spray for bugs and that the bug i found was a german cockroach. He told me they had another area of hotel not being used that had bed bugs and this area did not. After making me feel like a complete idiot I told my husband they are aware of bed bug issue in another part of hotel and they said there are none in room 120. I was not happy but we had a day of activities planned that we had to get to. On the 28th we woke up with a few more bites but did not see any more bugs. That evening we did find a roach in the room. The manager refused to move us to a different room or give our money back so we could find another place. They will not clean your room due to covid so each day it got worse. I told my husband it was too late as they would be in all our luggage and clothes anyway and we only had one more night. When we woke up on the 29th we were both covered in bites and our kids had a few plus we found several more bugs...one we killed on bed and blood splattered out of it. My husband went to front desk and asked for trash bags to put all our luggage in and i took photos of all the spots and bed bugs. I went to check out and showed them the bites and demanded our money back but they refused and they wouldnt look at photos and would only say we don't have bed bugs. I told them I would be reporting their property and filing a complaint and they said go ahead.
