Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Checked in in 12-16-22. Checked the room out and didn't see anything out of the ordinary besides a room that wasn't very clean. When I got back to my room the night of 12-17-22, I saw a bedbug crawling on the bed. I killed it with a soda bottle. Then I went to the front desk. I showed him the bug and he assured me it was just a flying bug and not a bed bug and that they are Checked regularly. I went back to my room and went to sleep. I woke up I the morning and checked out. Shortly after that I noticed bites all over my body that started itching painfully. I immediately went back to the hotel to tell the manager. He offered me 10% off and said "nothing is free in America", whatever that means. He said he would not do anything else for it. On my way out the door, I warned several other people of what had happened.
