On 10 OCT 17, we checked into this hotel between the approximate hours of 14:00-15:00 (room #102). After placing our bags in the room we immediately left to attend a repast for the passing of my Uncle. We returned to the hotel between the approximate hours of 0100-0200 on 11OCT17. We ate our take out food and then laid down. At approximately 0330-0430, I woke up to use the restroom. While in the restroom I began scratching my body and noticed several red welts on my body (i.e my back, my right side, bottom of my right leg, near my right arm pit, my right side stomach, both forearms, and right hand). I immediately took a shower. At approximately 0600-06:30 I reported this to hotel staff and even showed her my welts. She advised me to speak with manager when she arrives at 7a.m. At approximately 0700-0730, I spoke with manager and asked if she could have our room checked for bugs because I had welts over my body, and I showed her all of the areas. She said she would send someone. At approximately 0845-0920, a worker showed up, pulled back all bed linen and inspected the mattress like I would do as an amateur. He said he didn't see anything. Because our flight was scheduled to leave soon we needed check out. Upon returning to our home state on that same day, (11 OCT17) at approximately 13:23-14:00, my welts got worst. At approximately 15:06 that same day I called the hotel and asked them to check again and this time thoroughly. I was informed by the young lady that it could be a spider bite due to it being spider season there, but to speak to manager Jim tomorrow morning. On 12 OCT 17 I called the hotel to speak to manager J as my systems had worsened overnight, even forming a few blisters. I was informed at that time Jim was unavailable but to call back in approximately 10 minutes. I called the hotel back this same day at approximately 1030 hours, and spoke to Jim and informed him of everything from start up to the current. J informed me that their guy who checked our room is an expert and that they didn't find any bed bugs or anything else. I informed Jim of my worsened injuries, and Jim proposed that perhaps I came into contact at some other location, or even perhaps I may have had an allergic reaction to the detergents they use for they linens. I informed Jim that I know for a fact I'm not allergic to detergents, and that something did feast on my body noticeably from lying and sleeping only in their hotel, and that I was going to Urgent Care because the welts were getting worse, and a few blisters had formed. I told Manager J that I could even send him pictures of my welts and blisters. He said that won't be necessary because our guy is the best in the business and he found nothing. I told Manager J that I would need to seek medical attention because the welts and blisters were unbearably itchy, red, swollen, and painful. Manager J informed me to do as such and to have a good day, and hung up. On 12 OCT 17, I sought treatment and was informed that I was feasted on by either bed bugs or dust mites. I was treated with antibiotics and cream for the following diagnosis: Cellulitisparandpar insect bite. I was given medication of Hydroxyzine, Mometasone Cream, Prednisone, Sulfamethoxazole, and Claritin D. I am begging that someone please check this hotel out, because there is no way I payed down fine and woke up with welts that were slight red and itchy. Something in this hotel had its way with me. So please, please look into this matter. Thank you in advance to your prompt attention to this matter!
