Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Me and my wife had come from out of town, Atlanta to be exact, to attend my father's funeral. We decided to use hotwire.com to book our hotel and it sent us to econolodge. It looked like a normal two star hotel. So we stayed the night and in the middle of the night my wife was scratching her arm furiously. In the morning we awoke to bed bug bites, welts and bugs crawling over us. I reported it to management and they directed us to return around 12.p.m. we are now at the ER awaiting treatment. This is unacceptable and should not be tolerated by consumers. Corporate will be notified and thisincident should be handled promptly or lawyers will be involved.

Had the same incident last week in this hotel econo lodge I reported it to the hotel representatives they didn't do nothing about it that was in room 210 and now this room is worst I woke up at 2:30 am with itching in my body and spoted 3 bed bugs in bed sheets
