Checked at 4 pm Sat, Oct 1, 2016. With my 8 yr old great grandson daughter. I went to bed around 2 am. As soon as I got into bed I started itching all over my legs,arms,back and then I felt something biting me. I jumped out of bed and threw the covers back and moved the pillows and saw a bed bug. I mediate lyrics called the front desk to report it and told to come him to come see for himself. I killed the beginning bug on the pillow after I took pictures of it. He came inspected and agreed it was a bed bug. I showed him the bites on myself and granddaughter. He said it was only one and you killed. There was a lack of concern and caring. I insisted on another room. He moved us to 225 across the hall. I also noticed another bug craving on the floor. I did not know kind it was so I took a picture and video taped it. It was a white bug. I also told about the immediate inching to him (Mike, Assistant Mgr.) He offer the room free of charge for that night, but I had to get refused from Travelocity . I contacted them the next morning and reported why I needed a refund. The person in charge on the morning shift tried to give me a hard time. I warned the other people on the floor whose rooms were a joined by mine and room next to mine. The people in the room next to mine checked there room and found bed bugs. They called the front desk to come and see it, which they did and confirmed bed bugs in that room as well. I toldent@starkcountyul.org them at check that the way I was itching as soon as my body hit the sheets that apparently the sheets were dirty. I also noticed the room was very dirty, and the toilet in the bath still a poop stain in the bottom in the drain area, and sticky spill on the desk. Room 225 had an awful smell and I got absolutely no sleep, because of the smell and the fear of bed bugs. The Assistant Manger said he inspected room 225 for bed bugs before moving us to that room. There spill marks on the walls in that room and a filthy baseboard.
