My husband has been staying in this room for some time. Last night I went to see him and I grabbed a pillow and under it was a bed bug. He freaked and threw it in the sink. I took it out, placed it in a cup and brought it to management who told me this has never happened but, knew all the steps needed to follow the next morning and even had a guy to tell them how bad the infestation is to come in. His room will be switched today while he is at work.

On Friday May 26, 2017 my family checked into the Quality Inn located at 55 Lathrop Rd in Plainfield,CT. At approximately three am I awoke and found bedbugs crawling on the pillows of the bed I was sleeping in. I bagged them and went straight to the front desk. The clerk moved our room to room 227 where we found a broken crack pipe on the floor and dirty wash clothes hanging over the trash can. She said I would need to wait until 09:00 for the manager to handle the situation. She did not want me to keep the bagged bedbugs as proof of the infestation, but I refused to give her the baggie as I wanted proof for the manager. She said they have never had a bed bug problem before, however she asked for the clothing we had in the room so that she could run the clothes through a hot dry cycle to kill them if they had infested our laundry. The manager refunded our money. However told us we needed to check out early (we had a three day reservation) as he could not accomodate our stay any longer. I have several bites.
