I checked in on 2/24/25. After going to bed around 1:05am on 2/25 I was being bitten by what I thought was mosquitos but felt that was weird since it's winter and I hadn't seen any bugs in the room. I went back to sleep and was awaken again by more stinging bites that welted up with a large pink area surrounding them; this was just before 5am. I got up, turned the light on and inspected the bites. I went back to the bed and couldn't find anything until I banged the pillows together and a bed bug fell to the fitted sheet. I located 2 other bed bugs, called to the front desk and asked for a room change. They informed me that they had no room to switch me but that they would inform the manager who would give me a call. I gathered my belongings, took the 3 bed bugs down to the front desk as proof. The woman there was taken aback by the bites and welts all over my face, arms and neck. She was understanding and apologetic. I left by 6:30am and as of this entry at 9pm have yet to hear anything from anyone at the hotel.
