Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

2/14/16 discovered bed bugs as we were packing to leave after a two night stay. Took photos of the bugs and sent to a pest control company while we were still in the room who immediately identified the bug as a \"Bed Bug\" as we had never seen one before. Hotel agent also stated it \"looked like a bed bug but was large for a bed bug\". Offered to have all of our clothes dry cleaned and mailed to us. Hotel just advised 4 days after check out that their pest control company inspected the room and found NOTHING. Hard to believe they refused to accept any responsibility whatsoever !! We are in shock. Now fearful they are in our car and we have taken them home on our luggage and possessions since we were exposed for two days with no knowledge of bed bugs in the room. Terrible experience I hope never happens to anyone else.
