Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

7/23/22 woke up at 3 am to nurse our infant and saw something on my husband’s pillow. When I looked closer, I saw it was a bedbug. I woke him up and I collected it into a cup. I found a total of 5 bedbugs on both queen beds and on the wall. We were given a new room and the mattresses appeared clean. Later that day, we found ants all over our food so we got a third room. This room 217 had bedbug poop all over it. Staff couldn’t give us an refund or discount, they said they’d call the manager but we never heard back, even a week later. I chose to pack up our 3 kids and all of our stuff into garbage bags and drive home a day early and then we had to spend money laundering everything we’d had in that room.
