Arrived 12/30/16 departed 11:00pm on 12/31/16 Had reservations through the 1/1/17 but left early After a night full of my son itching & complaining that he felt like he was being bitten we discovered the next day that there was a bedbug problem in our room. We saw a bedbug crawling on my daughter & my husband grabbed a tissue to get it off of her. Once he squished it there was not just a bug but a lot of blood. Thats when we realized it was an adult bedbug. We then inspected the bed and found several baby ones on the sheets that were smushed from the night before as well as blood droplets from where my children were bitten. We took numerous pics of the bedbug in the tissue as well as the ones on the bed. The regular manager came to the room & agreed that they were in fact bedbugs. The general manager was on site as well & both were apologetic but of course gave the canned response of having never dealt w/ bedbugs before & the regular manager alluded to the fact that people "bring in bedbugs not realizing that they have them" which made us feel as though they were assuming we had bedbugs originally which is completely untrue. They offered to put us in the neighboring Doubletree which has a proven bedbug problem which we declined. We were also reimbursed for our entire stay. We left at 11:00pm on New Years Eve & drove 6 1/2 hours home. We still have our luggage, packages, shoes, etc in our garage as we don't want to bring any potential hitchhiking bedbugs into our house. I have been slowly going over every item w/ a fine toothed comb, piece by piece & have been laundering everything on the highest washer/dryer temps to kill any of them that may be there. What a nightmare! Can't believe our 1st encounter w/ bedbugs was from a super expensive "high end" hotel like the Grand Bohemian. Obviously we will never be returning!
