Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

August 24TH. Came in for a work trip. Slept 2 nights, on 3rd night woke up with a zig zag line of 11 bites on my upper left arm and my left hand. Thought weird mosquitos. Woke up following morning with almost a dozen bites on my neck and face and found one crawling along the bedding. Took video, went to staff and they took the room out of service and moved me. Staff said only person to report bed bugs *this week* and that they didn’t find any in my room. They said video doesn't prove anything. I cleaned my stuff, absolutely nuked it, and woke up the next morning with more bites along my hands and neck. This time to check out for good. Manager said they would look into it but possible I brought them to the hotel. Considering my own home has never had any issues and haven’t traveled in months prior… no.
