I stayed at the Comfort Suites at Stonecrest in Lithonia, GA checked in at 4:00 PM on June 8, 2018 and checked out at 11:00 AM on June 10, 2018. The morning I was checking out, I noticed my arm was itching and irritated but didn't actually look at it that very moment because I was rushing to checkout. However, once I got home, I started looking at all the areas on my body that were irritated and itching. That's when I realized that I'd been bitten badly by bed bugs on my arms, hand, feet, back, and butt. I immediately contacted the hotel and spoke with the manager. He advised me that he'd request a Pest Inspection of the room I stayed in and would speak with General Manager about issuing a refund and would call me back Friday afternoon. Needless to say, I have not heard from the manager or ANYONE with Choice Hotels since. The next action taken was an email and call to the Corporate Customer Relations department for Choice Hotels. I received an email back that someone would contact me within 7 - 10 business days. Of course, that time has come and gone without receiving any communication from corporate either. I don't know what my next step should be. I was just asking them to refund my stay and take care of their bed bug problem because although the bed/sheets looked clean and bug free, they were not.
