Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

The Best Western Historic Area Inn will be at the second traffic light on your right at the corner of Bypass Road (Route 60) and Waller Mill Road. �From: The south and east. Arrived at 7:00pm on Sunday November 1, 2020. Was moved to multiple rooms this night due to electrical issues and bedbugs found in multiple rooms. I was moved to 5 different rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor. Found a bed bug crawling on my laptop case and later saw about 6 bugs on the pullout couch in the room. After I notified the staff, they moved my room again and found more signs of bed bugs in that room on the mattress of the bed. The staff did not apologize, but told me to notify the manager in the morning and show pictures. I had to ask for trash bags for my belongings and I moved to a different hotel as soon as I could, which was only a few hours after my check-in.
