Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Me and my group of young girls checked into hilton garden inn warrenville il Saturday Oct 26, at 1700. Rooms 403 406 and 411 were assigned. In the middle of the night one of my guest complained about being bitten we examined and found multiple swollen bites in various parts of her body. We went to the desk and spoke to Brenden who gave us a new set of sheets and said "ecolab had just been out here and they said everything was ok.", no new rooms couldnt be provided bc they were 100% booked. We returned to the room and took the sheets off and examined the mattress to be sure. And put the clean sheets on. Over night the issue proceeded to be a problem. Sunday morning at about 630am we woke to find many bed bugs large and small on all sheets and matress. Videos and pictures of bugs and bites were taken and shown to the onsite management and escalated to Hilton corporate. Hilton corporate and general manager of hotel refused to be of any assistance.
